Each experience is as unique as the people who make it and is designed not as just a memory to last a lifetime, but rather the catalyst to continue exploring. Our wholistic approach to travel inspires more than a feast for the senses, it offers deep lasting connections for the soul.
At Global Nomads, we strive to create and foster a worldwide community of explorers with an insatiable lust for adventure, discovery and life. We are not a travel agency. We are faithful companions along the journey, trusted friends who know the way.
My wife and I and one of our adult daughters joined a Global Nomads trip to Africa in December. It was a bucket-list trip for us and it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Our hosts, Trey and Scotta Rawls, have built deep relationships over many years with local tour operators and our group benefited from those relationships by getting over-the-top attention in every possible detail.
After seeing every one of the “Big Five,” a rare feat, we headed to South Africa where we experienced Cape Town and the Wine Country in all of their glory. Perhaps the best part of all was the deep friendships we built with our group along the way, no accident as Trey and Scotta are incredibly intentional about facilitating natural and deep conversations. Overall, on a 1-to-10 scale, the trip was a 25 and we would recommend it for any adventurer out there!

Trey and Scotta Rawls and their “Global Nomads” have done it again!
We Shinnicks travel constantly, both for work and pleasure. We have covered this entire globe. Our previous favorite vacation was Global Nomad Adventure #1, an African safari in Kenya combined with time on the beach and in wine country in South Africa back in 2021. Kristin also recently had an outstanding girls trip to Provence, France on Adventure #5.
Well, we just got home from our new favorite trip ever, Lou and Scotta’s 6th Adventure, island hopping in Croatia on the 137 ft yacht “Melody” with both lifelong and new friends. Here’s a not so secret part of these adventures:
Hanging with the Global Nomad people is honestly the best part.
We started in Trogir, and explored Split, Brač, Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mijet, and Dubrovnik. Crystal clear water, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, e-biking, hiking, jeep tours, tours of ancient castles, excellent meals onboard and off, open bar, and even a Viking level BBQ on a farm - The trip had it all.
We cherish new adventures, not fans of repeating vacations. However, this trip was so epic, for the first time, we are marking our calendars to go back again.
